Community

Through the financial support of our annual Parade of Homes and dedicated members we have been able to give back to other local groups including: The Bedell Family YMCA, Camp Foster, Discovery House, Lakes Area Land & Trust, ReNew Store, Habitat for Humanity, Upper Des Moines and many other local community projects.

Pictures from the 2019 Discovery House remodel. The Discovery House, a local addiction support home in Spirit Lake, purchased the neighboring house. When the home was purchased the upstairs was just stud walls as the previous owner had plans to build more, but the project was not finished. Our association donated funds and coordinated the remodel while our members donated their time, materials or both! The upstairs is now able to house 6 more individuals on their road to recovery!
